At Christmastime, the entire Village became a Currier and Ives Christmas card. For 18 evenings the Holiday Nights program was an immersion of sights, sounds, and smells. Costumes were winter clothing styled from 1900's photographs, catalogs, and authentic sewing patterns.

Visitors would meet carolers, skaters, horseback riders, musicians, revelers and gaily dressed couples strolling through the village Christmas shopping and buying greens from the greenery market. 

When the snow came it was as though you had stepped back in time.
